Museum Attends WNY Regional Science and Engineering Fair, April 1, 2017

Members of the Niagara Aerospace Museum attended the 75th annual WNY Regional Science and Engineering Fair on April 1, 2017.  The event is hosted by the Western New York Science Congress, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education in grades 5 -12 encompassing five WNY counties (Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, and Wyoming).

Here are a few pictures from a great day of sharing some of Western New York’s aerospace treasures with students, their families, and teachers.

The museum is saddened to learn of the passing of Norman Hameister, a long time museum restoration volunteer and tour guide. He served our country as a Seabee in WWII and was an accomplished private pilot as well as an active member of the local veterans Honor Flight. You will be missed. God speed and wings level.
